Adding a New Branch
Step-by-step guide to creating a new branch
Creating Your First Branch
Adding a new branch to Qrder is the first step toward getting your restaurant's digital menu up and running. Each branch represents one of your physical locations.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to the Branches Page
- Log in to your Qrder account
- In the left sidebar, click on Branches
- You will see a list of your existing branches (or an empty state if this is your first one)
Step 2: Click "New Branch"
- Look for the New Branch button on the branches page
- Click it to open the branch creation form
Step 3: Enter Branch Details
Fill in the following information for your new branch:
Branch Name
Enter a clear, descriptive name for your branch. This name will be visible to customers when they scan your QR code.
- Good examples: "Qrder Cafe - Kadikoy", "Main Street Bistro", "Airport Terminal Lounge"
- Avoid vague names like "Branch 1" or "New Location"
Description
Provide a brief description of your branch. This helps customers understand what your location offers.
- Mention your cuisine type, ambiance, or specialties
- Keep it concise but informative (1-3 sentences)
- This may be displayed to customers on the digital menu page
Address
Enter the physical address of your branch location.
- Include street address, city, and any relevant details
- This helps with analytics and can be shown to customers
- Be as specific as possible for customer navigation
Step 4: Save the Branch
- Review all the information you entered
- Click the Create or Save button
- Your new branch will be created and you will be redirected to the branch detail page
After creating a branch, it will appear in your sidebar and branch list immediately.

Tips for Creating Branches
Be Thorough from the Start
Taking the time to properly fill in all branch details during creation saves you from having to edit them later. Complete all fields with accurate information.
Plan Your Branch Structure
If you plan to add multiple branches, think about your naming convention and how you want to organize them before you start creating them.
Test the Customer Experience
After creating a branch and setting up its menu, scan the QR code yourself to see exactly what your customers will experience. This helps you identify any issues before going live.
You can always edit branch information later. See Editing Branch Information for instructions on updating your branch details.
Common Questions
Can I delete a branch?
Yes, you can delete a branch from the branch settings page. Be aware that deleting a branch removes all associated data including menus, QR codes, and order history.
